Caldwell County Mutual Insurance Company was incorporated in February, 1895, under the laws of the State of Missouri operated and governed by RSMO sections 380.011-.151 as a Part One Mutual Insurance Company until September 2002. A board resolution adopted September 27, 2002 and filing of the Certificate of Authority with the Missouri Department of Insurance amended operations of the Mutual as an Extended Missouri Mutual Company (Part II) operating under Sections 380.201-.591 of the RSMO Supplement 1984 statutes. The mutual, owned and controlled by its policyholders, provides property and casualty insurance and operates under a nine-member board of directors.
